Key Stage 2 Results 2023/24

2024 Key Stage 2 Results

These results are also published by the school and college performance tables service which you can use to compare our school against other local and national schools.

The attainment for our KS2children in 2023/24 showed significant improvement from previous years. They are however, still below national expectations and we continue to strive to improve these results year on year. There are many reasons for this low attainment including the long-term impact of the Covid-19 pandemic but we would like to reassure our parents and carers that the school leadership have put many actions in place to address this going forwards including the recruitment of our Recovery Teacher, Mrs McCarthy and targeted intervention. We believe you as parents are also vital in partnering with the school in supporting your children's ongoing attainment. Please visit reading at home and video resource centre to find out more about what you can do to support your child's core learning at home.

Average progress scores in reading, writing and mathematics

It has not been possible to calculate KS1-KS2 progress measures for academic years 2023/24 and 2024/25. This is because there is no KS1 baseline available to calculate primary progress measures for these years due to Covid-19 disruption.
