Anti-bullying week

Make a Noise About Bullying

This November, we marked Anti-Bullying Week 2023 by joining in with Odd Socks Day on Monday 13th November and celebrating what makes us all unique. Throughout the week, we then took part in lots of different tasks to help us to understand what bullying is, how we can identify it and how we can all make changes to stop bullying happening.

We created class poems on the theme of making a united noise to stand up against bullying. You can read Elm Class's poem below:

Make a noise to bullying.

It’s not fun, it’s not cool for anyone.

Make a change, make a stand and most of all,

Make a sound!

Be yourself, although it hurts.

You might not feel like you have been heard.

Your anxiety might feel absurd.

Make a change, make a stand and most of all,

Make a sound!

Tell a teacher, that you are not a bad creature.

Never bully, it makes you sour,

Hour by hour.

Make a change, make a stand and most of all,

Make a sound!

Be nice, don’t go up to someone with spice.

Friends, parents, careers,

We’ll never be over sharers.

Make a change, make a stand and most of all,

Make a sound!
