District Sports Day- Tuesday June 7th at Lea Valley Sports Centre


Hurst Drive won a total of 14 medals - 5 Gold, 3 Silver, 6 Bronze

 

Gold:    Bonnie, Olivia G, Chanelle, Malaki W, Ahmid
Silver:  Abram, Denzil, Jeffrey
Bronze: Olivia D, Devonte, Sara P (2), Tia, Malachi B 
 

 

The boys came 5th overall, while the girls came 6th. Well done to all the children who took part!

 

 

Cross County 4th May at Cheshunt School

 

Both Boys and Girls teams did well and finished 3rd overall.

 

Cheyenne finished 3rd in the girls race out of a field on 20 girls

Jaiden finished 4th in the boys race out of a field of  20 boys

 

Well done all!

Tag Rugby Tournament- 27th April at Cheshunt Rugby Club

 

  The Hurst Drive Team won 2 matches and lost 2 matches, finishing as runners up.

  The team all played well, with Kayton scoring 8 trys

                         

 

Swimming Gala - 24th February

 

A team consisting of Archie, Jake, Jaiden, Ross, Lily-May, Sara P, Sara K, Chloe B & Chloe G took part in a swimming gala held at Cheshunt School on February 24th. Although up against stiff competition all of the team received bronze medals in both their individual events and the relay races. Well done to all, great teamwork!

 

Football Results

 

Mon 22nd February         A Team Boys Football   v  Fairfields 

                                                      Final Score:  2 v 2      

Kayton scored first from a corner, Fairfield then scored twice before Arda scored with a great volleyed goal.

 

Tuesday 23rd  February   B Team Boys Football   v  Dewhurst St Marys

                                                      Final Score 0 v 3    

Unfortunately we played most of the match with only 6 players, but the boys kept going and showed  great determination, trying right to the end.

 

Speed Stack Tournament - February 11th

A very young team which included a Year 1 child, attended a Speed Stack Tournament on February 11th. They were place 4th out of 6 teams and all managed to beat their previous best times. Congratulations team!

Watersports Festival

 

Held at Haileybury Turnford Academy - Thursday 21st Jan

 

7 Teams from 5 school entered. Each team consisted of 4 girls and 4 boys 

Our B Team placed 2nd and received Silver Medals

  Our A Team placed 3rd and received Bronze Medals.

 

The afternoon involved 4 different events

Rowing 1Km - 4 boys 4 girls all had to Row 250ms

Throw the Anchor - All 8 had to throw bean bags into Hoops to score points.

Water Polo -Team played volley ball sitting on the floor with a large Balloon Ball.

Walk the Plan - A pair had to move over a bench around some cones and over stepping stone while 

                                          keeping a hoop up between them. They must not use their hands.

 

   

 

   

 

   

 

   

 

     

 

All the children had a great time, they all showed great team work, well done all
