At Hurst Drive Primary School, PE is taught weekly in Reception, KS1 and KS2 using the PE Hub Scheme.
The children develop fundamental skills, becoming increasingly competent and confident, and learn how to use them in different ways. They will have access to a broad range of sporting opportunities, working both individually and with others, and this will lead to them engaging in competitive and co-operative physical activities. They will also learn how to evaluate not only to improve in different physical activities but also to recognise their own successes.

There is also a range of extra-curricular sporting activities provided for EYFS, KS1 and KS2, These are run by members of staff and outside coaching companies.
