From Monday 14th to Thursday 17th May, there will be a free breakfast club starting at 7:45am for Year 6 children. We've made sure to order all their favourites - everything from sweet green grapes to fresh chocolate chip muffins! Absolutely no one will go hungry!
The reason we're running this breakfast club is because the children will be sitting the standardised assessment tests (SATs) that week and it's important they arrive to school in plenty of time so we can make sure they're watered and fed and in a calm, focused mood ahead of taking each test.
The Year 6 children and their teachers have been working incredibly hard this year - we're proud of each and every one of them no matter what happens! All we ask is that every child arrives early to school that week and works to the very best of their ability. I'm sure we'll have lots of success stories to share when we receive the results in July.
If you have any questions about the breakfast club, please speak to your child's class teacher. If you'd like more information about the SATs, the Department for Education have released a video you may watch to learn more about them.
