In June 2016 the Digital Leaders had a special trip to Bletchley Park as a thank you for all of their hard work throughout the year. Below is a short video about their trip:

Digital Leaders assembly for Safer Internet Day 2016- #SID16

The Brief:

To provide leadership in the use of digital technologies in the school


Role of a Digital Leader:

  • Researching and developing the use of new technologies within school

  • Helping to train the children and adults in school to use new technologies

  • Helping children and adults in school with basic technical ICT issues

  • To be responsible for some IT equipment (laptops, iPads)

  • To promote e-Safety throughout the school

  • To lead assemblies on Computing/e-Safety

  • Helping staff deliver some computing lessons (where curriculum allows and with their teacher’s permission)

  • Helping to run lunchtime ICT club on a rota basis

  • To attend regular DL meetings

  • To be instructors for new ‘KS1 computer licence’

  • To attend workshops, DL conferences (with supervision & parents’ permission)

  • To help with website content – responsible for DL page (under supervision)

  • Blogging about Computing in school
