About Us

Hurst Drive Primary School is in Waltham Cross,Hertfordshire, a market town 14 miles north from the centre of London.

It was opened in September 1953. It is situated on a pleasant site in a residential area. The location is only a five-minute drive from the A10 junction of the M25 (Junction 25) and a ten-minute walk from Theobalds Grove or Waltham Cross Railway Stations.

 

There are currently eleven classrooms in the school and about 300 children. The grounds are extensive and contain a substantial conservation area, with different habitats including a pond, field and wooded area.

 

  

 

  

   

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The school offers a variety of extra-curricular activities and clubs which take   place both at lunch-time and after school. Trips and visits are also an essential part of the curriculum we provide.
